I wear mine with supreme vanilla from Zara it pairs well with EOS vanilla cashmere. Or mix with Fenty body butter. I get compliments all the time day/night and it pairs well with a lot. You're right the smell doesn't last but the skin is soft. I pull for my vanilla fragrances as it's known to enhance your mood. Enjoyed your favorites.
