I don't know where Mr Peterson gathered his conclusions from but Lewis' disregard towards biological evolution can be clearly seen in his essay "The Funeral of the Great Myth" It can be found in Christian Reflections and The Seeing Eye

Earlier in life Lewis may have adopted evolutionary views, but later he made it fairly clear that he no longer supported it. Take this quote for instance, "What inclines me now to think you may be right in regarding [evolution] as the central and radical lie in the whole web of falsehood that now governs our lives is not so much your arguments against it as the fanatical and twisted attitudes of its defenders."
