PM Modi listens as CM Gehlot says 'atmosphere of violence in country'; Watch

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday confronted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the atmosphere of violence in the nation. Gehlot said there is a need to strengthen peace, harmony and brotherhood in the country. Rajasthan had witnessed communal violence last year in Baran district following the stabbing of two youths. The Congress has repeatedly blamed the BJP government for the incidents of communal tension. Watch full video.

I stayed in rajasthan for 12 years during my school days when Mr.Gehlot was himself chief minister. Our school was closed many times due to riots incurred by congress party goons. Now he is speaking opposite of it

I think Gehlot is seeing Youtube channels like Wire or channels like NDTV. India is more peaceful than ever before. We see some television bites of certain so called religious leaders threatening each other but by and large India is more peaceful. It was during Congress rule when India had bomb blasts, communal riots etc. Things are pretty good since last 7 years - ie ever since Mr Modi became the PM.

I belong to Sardarpura, Jodhpur where our CM has been elected past over years and years. I know the condition of my area, we are suffering from one religion but they are not taking any action because they don't want hurt their Vote bank
