Hiring a car can be complicated and expensive.

In Europe, if your hire car is damaged or stolen, you could be liable for an excess amount of up to fifteen hundred pounds.

Most rental companies offer excess protection but this can cost fifteen pounds or more a day and often doesn’t include cover for parts such as windows, tyres and undercarriage.


Whether you’re hiring a car, a van or a motorhome we can cover it, and if the rental company does charge you for any damage we will reimburse you, usually within 14 days of your claim.
