My man. You set the R Comp attack release but didn't set it to manual, so in essence you nullified the setting you dialed in. It's the ARC button top left, click that to set it to manual mode.

you might wanna try to use a raw vocal track for comparison.

Pukechild? :) afaik it' pueeg. What headphones are you using if you hear less details than on monitors? And what monitors are you using? You could also touch the subject on serial compression. Like shaving off some peaks with rcomp/1176/puigchild on 1 and feeding into 2a or puigchild on 2/3/5. The result should be better. Anyway nice vid!

I have a question, dont roast me im new to making music (started in June 2019). Why do you need different compressors on a vocal and not just one compressor? Cant you use the same compressor 3 times on the same vocal or does that have a negative effect?

As I can hear there is also compression on master track so if you turn off on a chanel.. the voice is still compressed with a slow attack time.. or it's just a Youtube compression ? might be

I heard the Rcompressor can get rid of background noise. Is this true? I'm getting a "static" sound with my vocals. I can usually hear it in the end of the songs when they get quiet. I like to punch in & out to sing certain words or phrases better. When the mic comes back on, I can hear the static sound come in as well. I usually don't hear it until I put it into the song (transfer a wav file). I guess it comes in more clearly after I do my compression on the vocal. It's really annoying.
