if you’ve read the comic and know how large titan squidward is, just take a moment to realize JUST HOW FUCKING GIGANTIC the tortured one is. (Also that grass skirt chase motif at the end gave me CHILLS)

Music is an absolute banger but my god this art was freaking stellar! I was stunned at seeing how crazily detailed the sprites and background were. I honestly have no idea how long it must've took for the artist to put this together, it's just incredible to see.

This song is so good. I love the harpsichord, it fits with the gothic style of art and I just adore the Monster Patrick animations. Awesome job on this cool track, definitely a new favorite of mine!

I love The Bikini Bottom Horror, and I'm so incredibly happy to see it be included in this mod. A shame that it was cancelled, but this is an absolute banger nonetheless.

I knew nothing about the bikini bottom horror, But after this mod dropped, I decided to give it a read. It is now one of my favorite webcomic series, I have the MCM team to thank for that. I absolutely loved the sprites, They were so detailed and are true to the source material. I haven't even talked about how good the song is either, In my opinion, It fits in well with what is going on, It really does sound like Squidward is trying his hardest to defeat "Patty-Rick". The little grass skirt chase Motif at the end, It really gives a ominous and sad feel to the song, Almost symbolizing how all of the joy in bikini bottom has faded. Keep up the good work on the mod you guys!!

With regards to which song gave the best vibes of its source material in this mod, Tortured absolutely crushes it, no question. The whole song feels melancholy, hopeless, dreadful, like you're trying to survive a tremendous threat that's impossible to overcome, but it also contains an intensity that gives off the feeling that the threat in question isn't just some kind of worldwide calamity or disaster... it's a creature, one of mass proportions, destroying everything you've ever known, and there's nothing you can do about it. It holds such apocalyptic vibes in every note that's sung, and it's just so perfect.

But then, at 1:52, the song communicates a rebellious tone - that finally, everyone else in the world finds the strength within them to stand up to the giant threat. They grab all their weapons, and they hit it with everything they got. The monster fights back, lashing out at the people that are nothing but ants in its eyes. But they aren't going to take it lying down. They will not back down, as their lives and the planet they live on is at stake.

And though they put up a good fight... they ultimately lose, as the song dips down into the depressing vibes again. Cue the rendition of the Grass Skirt Chase music. It's all over. The monster has won. The planet lies in ruin, the sadistic handiwork of the monster that brought only chaos. Nothing can change this chapter of life. And now, humanity is dead... gone... forever.

At least, these are the feelings that the song gives me. I know that the monster doesn't win in the Bikini Bottom Horror comic (spoilers, sorry), but this song makes me feel what it'd be like if it DID win. It came, it conquered, the heroes fought against it, but it still killed them in the end. It's both interesting and terrifying to think about what the final page of the comic would've been like if the Tortured One had succeeded in its rampage.

A lot of songs in this mod use the Grass Skirt Chase motif, but this one has the best use of it. It's a reminder that despite the absurd situation in this song, this is still SpongeBob.

I hope that Squidward's vocals are pitched down slightly so it can sort of match Patrick's a bit better and make it stand out so badly, but besides that this song is an absolute banger

Also I want to add that I mean no malice behind this whatsoever, I genuinely love this song and I can't stop having it on loop, it's just that good and in my opinion, the best song and over-all part of the mod!
