I did. One of my old neighbors had a African gray that he ignored and was feeding him salted peanuts and he plucked all his feathers out. Me and my mom took him in. Before he was with us, he used to bite his owner and he wasn’t able to be pet or handled. He became such a good pet. He grew all his feathers back with us and he was the smartest bird ever he used to mimic our words exactly in our voices when the bird used to call my name. It sounded exactly like my mom was calling me.❤

I tried rescuing an afrigan grey. They was feeding hotdogs and stuff. It got so sick from being abused. I brought it in and it was so weak. It stayed alive about a month with me until it died from organ failure from the food it had beem given. The vet said there was literally nothing we could do so i tried to make him comfortable and he passed in my arm. I get him to kinda play and just fed him foods he liked. His name was skittles.
