Disney Makes NON-WOKE Film & A Ton Of Money! Inside Out 2 CRUSHES Box Office | Have They Learned?

After several disappointing box office disasters in a row, Disney finally gets a major win, a huge box office weekend for Inside Out 2, raking in $155M domestically and $295M worldwide. And from the audience reviews, it appears to be a fun, normal, non-agenda kids movie with something for the whole family. How come Disney couldn't do this earlier? Nobody knows. But the question is...can Pixar be the savior Disney desperately needs?

Now, maybe Hollywood will recognize that it isn't the pandemic. It isn't superhero fatigue. To be honest, it probably isn't Woke; it's making crap movies that don't entertain.

However I think the Hollywood takeaway will be, "Look! The audience finally gets us!" As a result they will fall back on crap movies.

I watched the animated Aladdin over the weekend and I was struck with one thought-no one currently employed at the Walt Disney company has the talent to produce anything even near the masterpiece level of this one film. I've heard Inside Out is solid and better than the first. I hope so. I would love to see Disney get their heads out of their butts and get back to making quality entertainment instead of stoking the culture wars with every fiber of their being.

Saw the movie. Can honestly say it was great. Good laughs, the climax had me tearing up a little and nothing felt forced. Did drag a bit in the middle but I can easily overlook that.

Derek I was totally expecting this to go the route of literally every single Disney movie nowadays. I did research before taking my 2 young sons Saturday and it was looking like it might be safe if you know what I mean. I decided I’d take them but the moment anything woke popped up I was ready to leave. Well I was PLEASANTLY surprised man! It was a great movie with humor, drama, some tender moments. Had it all. As far as I could tell there wasn’t anything woke and oh my gosh why doesn’t Disney just keep doing it like this! If they handle this Inside Out franchise the RIGHT way, they could release these every 8-10 years following the main character Riley as she continues to grow up and experience new age related milestones. It could be as good as the Toy Story franchise honestly. Omg I hope they keep doing this man. I don’t expect Disney to keep doing it this way but it’s a gem. Makes me wonder though, how starved are we for good wholesome family entertainment that ANY movie that comes out that isn’t woke seems like a fantastic movie lol. Great show Derek I love your content. I give it 5 stars BUT…if it weren’t for all the Disney trash they’ve put out that probably makes this seem better than what it really was, I’d probably only give it a 4 lol. Oh and a big big plus for me was that the moron Mindy Kaling wasn’t in this sequel reprising her role from the first movie. Apparently she was upset that Amy Poehler was getting 5 million for her role and they only offered 100k to Mindy 😂. She can go back to her woke Scooby Doo trash show.
