Hello, you can see that the glow plug symbol lights up after you started the engine. This means that the engine in your truck is equipped with an intake air heater (not all Volvo trucks have this feature). To activate it, turn the key to the 1st position after ignition on (not fully to the start position), and let go of the key. The glow plug symbol will light up, when it starts blinking (after maybe 30 seconds) you can start the engine. You will notice that the engine start much easier when it gets really cold.
