FMA Friday - "Snikkarvalsen"
OMG! This waltz is so great, we can't wrap our heads around how great it really is? Ånon Egeland comes in with this amazing waltz after Salve Austenå (1927-2019) from Tovdal in Agder. Salve was the only one left playing the traditional music from Tovdal on his hardanger fiddle. A tiny valley stuck in between Setesdal and the big Telemark county, so it's music in inspired by both these musical dialects. Springar and Gangar mostly but also some awesome waltzes, as this one: "Snikkarvalsen".
