Those birds at the end meant change/movement. I believe the end was more full of Hope then she has felt in 500 years. That's us finally opening the doors to save her.

the singing on the chorus is actually the Aranara song which so freaking cute I'm really happy they incorporated it into Nahida's theme

The fact that Hoyoverse used the Vanarana theme and changed it so it also fit Nahida is brilliant. The beat drop shot an arrow at my chest and my love for Nahida grew even more. Also, not Hoyoverse getting us in the first half and then hitting us with depression twice in a row 😭

This demo washes all my impurities away. Nahida's demo is just so cute, childlike, innocent, pure, i loved it :) and the Aranara's is so cute too :] But the ending though, Hoyo really loves to play with our feelings huh

oh my god this trailer is awesome! Nahida theme music is absolutely amazing! Fits her perfectly. I agree, I think this is one of the best trailers out there

I love it! I already done the aranara quest and that singing reminds of aranara singing! This demo fits Nahida.

The music and choice of imagery was insanely symbolic.

The whole demo was a peek into Nahida's daily life for the past 500 years. She's locked up by the very people who were supposed to worship her as a god and her only escape was her and her people's dreams.

The whole demo is her living in a dream with her aranara friends. The whole sequence from her going underwater to the time she cast her burst was her going from one dream to another. That's why we saw kids reading books underwater, or kids riding flying manta rays across the desert, or riding giant flowers through the forest.

It was very telling when the video showed imagery of her idle animations, especially the one where she makes a silhouette of a small bird with her powers. The bird imposed over the image of her with her hands up, facing the camera, like a baby asking for her parent to cradle her into their arms -- It was her longing for freedom.

In the end she wakes up to the nightmare of her reality.
The fact that she is alone, locked away for the past 500 years.

I just realized that the birds' shadow flying away symbolizing that we are going to free her soon. And as always, the Archon demo never misses and is always phenomenal to watch, especially the choir and the drop.

I legit teared up. Especially since I watched this after saving her in the archon quest for 5 straight hours last night. Yes. Run free, my child. You deserve the world.
