For me at least, coop survivals are a way to interact with other people without interacting with them ... As an introvert, I like hanging with friends, but I hate going out and do stuff, so this is a way to do that exactly.

Sons of the Forest has me biting at the bits. The Forest is and has been in my top 3 favorite survival games for years now. It’s awesome to see how far this game has come and this should be in every survival lovers library.

I really wish other games would use 7DaysToDie's formula. I like base building with skill points and having a constant threat that attacks your base which you need to defend against.

The thing that keeps the survival games fresh is the hard start at every game and the building later on but then it dies out and you have to repeat or try other survival games :)

Among Trees "released" very suddenly on 11/10/21 and they basically said, we're done, bye and we're on to better things because we already spent too long on this game. The game has so much potential and they just left us hanging. So disappointed as it is a lovely game. They rarely gave updates and said that's they way they intended to do things which only frustrated the players even more, they'd promise to do better, then disappear again and go on vacation for months at a time, then drop a small update, then disappear again. I really hope someone takes up the gauntlet and makes a similar game and takes it further.

Grounded is great, I've been playing it way too much (playing incomplete games can spoil the final experience a bit)

Retreat to Enen seems great for ppl like me. Outside of neutral being my most common mood.. stress, depression, anxiety, hunger etc are my most common moods. I love survival games, but bc I have no friends and have a low stress tolerance due to being stressed daily, they tend to be too frustrating the further I progress.. so I’m hoping it’s as relaxing as they’re going for, but not so boring I won’t move to touch it.
