Jared Kushner was accepted into Harvard despite his grades being far worse than several of his classmates who had been decline admission to Harvard.
By an amazing coincidence just 2 weeks before Jared applied to Harvard, his father, ex-con Charles Kushner, pledged to donate $2.5M to the elite university.
A teacher at Jared's school, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said "How can we teach these kids right from wrong when they can see that cash is the only thing that really matters?"
Students who had worked much harder and achieved much better grades were heartbroken to lose their place to a far worse student simply because his Daddy had stacks of dodgy money.
Rich folk, buying unfair advantages for their spoilt and entitled offspring is a far more serious problem but the media or politicians seldom mention that. I wonder why?

Honestly to be Black in America is a genuine struggle & I appreciate interviews such as these as they help highlight the underbelly issues, dispelling the illusions of inclusiveness portrayed by Hollywood & I Pray for Total unconditional acceptance of all ethnicities in the USA @ all levels in life. 🙏🏿🇺🇲

DEI - includes those with Disabilities. Think of our Veterans.

My favorite DEI example is:
Your airline flight is about to takeoff. Do you want the most experienced pilot flying the aircraft or do you want a DEI hire as your pilot?

It's about racism. That's not hard to figure out.

Not opposed to DEI, but she said if we didn't preserve it our greatest competitors will and leave use behind. I gotta throw the BS flag on that one. Our greatest competitors like who? China, currently genociding the Uyghurs? Russia, where if you aren't Slavic you're a peasant getting sent to the front lines as cannonfodder, or if you're LGBT you're probably in or headed for prison? Don't even mention the middle east. Frankly, I don't see any actual competitors to the US that aren't a thousand times worse on DEI issues that we are.

She talked a little too fast too. Felt like she was preaching rather than educating. Please take that as a helpful critique.

Only straight, white, x-tian men should have rights, money, power, and jobs. Owning land is, currently, optional. --GQP

I recall DEI training as an employee in a major US corporation. It was mostly about respecting coworkers to increase productivity. Perhaps our enemies without diverse demographics are fueling this anti -DEI to hurt our strength of inclusion and diversity to weaken us as a global economic leader.

Now that Florida took care of DEI in education, they're starting in on businesses. The party of smaller government who thinks corporations should be run unfettered by the interference of the legislature, is targeting Starbucks. The state is unaffordable - real estate, utilities, , car insurance, homeowner's insurance. Residents still deal with housing un-repaired from multiple hurricanes in the last decade. Pollution in the waterways that affect one of their biggest sources of income - tourism. But what do they find important. The fact that a privately owned business want to be fair in its hiring practices.

Dei is just their new word now that calling everything woke doesn’t have the same punch anymore

Should show a map of how many governors banned DEI
which happen to be same ones with total or near abortion bans

Watching Trump getting booed off the libertarian stage was priceless. Entertainment is getting so affordable these days.

Black people were marginalized and discriminated against in this country for CENTURIES and you can't right this injustice with just a couple decades of DEI and declare the issue is solved. Some white people are just afraid of losing their white privilege if minorities are represented fairly in positions of power in both the economic and political spheres. IMO a white man.

Voters should consider the fact that just as easily as the Republican controlled Supreme Court took away women's rights to choose, they also have the power to take any of the other Constitutional rights we all take for granted. VOTE BLUE for your own personal freedoms

They are blaming DEI for turbulance on the Singapore flight. This is just the same blame nonwhitea for everything.

Not only can't your typical opponent of DEI define it, they can't even spell it.

It's about discrimination and keeping the majority of Americans on an income that can't support their current cost of living. Including retired teachers and seniors, regardless of their race, creed or color.

The commentators are right that DEI initiatives and practices have been in place for many years. Yet, all of a sudden, there's been a small, but very vocal group waging war on anything that even appears inclusive. The vitriol I received a couple of months ago was super intense when me and the other presenters described our appearance when introducing ourselves on a zoom call for those listening in who are blind or couldn't see us. Doing something so simple as to let participants on the call who may be blind know what each speaker looked like was enough to have someone give us such a scathing review, there was talk about stopping this practice from now on. Fortunately, that's not happening. This kind of nonsense needs to be ignored and not given a second of consideration, imo.
