In this video I will be asking a series of questions asking students to identify organs. I also review the major functions of the organs. This video would be good as a preview for students entering A&P I or A&P II or as a refresher for students with pre-existing knowledge of the subject

Topics covered: the definition of an organ, skin function, liver function, brain (afferent vs efferent), spleen function (red pulp vs white pulp), basic stomach function (mechanical vs chemical digestion) small intestine vs large intestine function, function of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes, basic kidney and ureter function
