THANK YOU SO MUCH!! These free Social Studies videos were a life saver for me.

I passed my 5001 "Multiple Subjects" today, including the 5004 (Social Studies). I passed it with a score of 156, and the cut-off was 155!! Your free content here was the extra push I needed.

Thanks, Ms. Jasper!!

This was awesome, very well explained. Let us never forget the tragedies that shadow this American experiment.

3 minutes in and I’m understanding so much with where you’re going! Thank you for breaking it down like this, I would love for you to post more Social Studies content. Going on my third attempt 😕 and I would love to understand the whys of everything and not just memorize it as I’ve been trying to do

Thank you for this video and telling the truth -- there has been too many instances where I've heard this truth was glossed over or not spoken about but it has to be taught. I love the way you used the map to explain the cause and effect of exploration and how you tied in the Columbian exchange and Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade -- so I'm gonna use that same approach to introduce this topic with my students this week and then explain we will dive deeper into each concept. Thanks again!

This was great information. Not only does it help with the exams, but it helps to have an understanding to teach it to the students. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video! I really loved the presentation- and I'm sure some of this information will come out on the exam. Kathleen, I really appreciate the work you do! I purchased your study guide and passed my FTCE General Ed test on the first try (including the Essay thanks for all the tips =), going for the K-6 Subject Area with your Study Guide again and hoping for the same result!

I'd like to echo the sentients of those thanking you for teaching the truth and not minimizing the effect of the Triangle Slave Trade and genocide of indigenous people. It is honestly scary studying for this test with so much white-washed, sugar-coated material and I'm grateful to you for not doing that.

And YES wow I wish I had drawn on a map when studying history when I was growing up! This was so helpful and I'll be doing this through the rest of my studies!

Thank you so much for helping us with this information, especially regarding this most incredibly important story (European colonialism exacerbating the institution of slavery in Africa to new heights arguably not seen since the time of the pharoahs) that must be retold time and time again.

Is it possible to change the intro volume? I watch many of your videos, but the volume increase between the intro clip and the rest of the video is always a little too much. Thank you so much for your content! It is incredibly helpful!

Thanks for this video! But some of the Africans were sold by their own people. Great video though!
