Wooden air engine build

Showing how to build my wooden steam engine model. It runs off a vacuum cleaner, or just by blowing air into the inlets.

If you connect the axles together and hook up the outlet from the first piston to the inlet of the second (beware of the phasing, the outlet needs to blow air into the inlet when both of them are open), you will have made a two stage engine. :) Normally the first stage would have a smaller piston though, as the pressure is higher there, but I bet it would work anyways. :)

Thanks for doing this. I bought the plans for this when you first made them many years ago and, after 3 computer changes, only found them (I think I have them all), split up all over the place, on an external hard drive so I had been intending to try to build the engine when my workshop was finished. This video is very useful for the detail I would probably have missed.
