This is sick. As a parent and a grandparent if an unlicensed speeding driver who entered this country illegally hit a school bus head on I wouldn’t be pleading this an accident and not on purpose. Of course it was accident! The driver of the van who hit the bus could have been killed himself. But DAD! He was unlicensed. He was breaking the law!!! Was he here legally???? Your son was killed under these circumstances. What to the parents of the other children think??? Sorry for your loss. But sir. If people obeyed the laws of this land your son would be alive. The facts of the situation are that: the immigrant did not have a valid U.S. drivers license. The immigrant crossed the center line into the busses path, the bus began driving on the shoulder to avoid the crash and the man driving the minivan scraped down the entire side of the bus without hitting the breaks until he broke the axel in the back of the bus. The van drivers vehicle was 90% in the opposite lane. He claimed the “sun was in his eyes”. Hermanio Joseph, of Haitian descent, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and vehicular homicide for the death of Aiden Clark & injuries to 23 other passengers, mostly involving students. Let’s not forget Kathy Heaton from Springfield who was killed by an immigrant while taking out her garbage at the end of her driveway & not deny there is an increasing trend of crashes happening involving people & structures in this area. Wishing a white guy did it & ignoring the issue while claiming “it’s just hate” it is a weak position to take.
