Sensor reports rising temperature while actuator (eg. cooling system) is off.
When high threshold is exceeded, threshold alarm is generated by platform.
Smart Rule executes a command on that alarm, to turn actuator on.
After that temperatures fall, until low threshold, causing Smart Rule to
turn actuator off again. This balances in a steady-state of up and down.
But what happens if equipment is broken, and does not cool down?
Hope you have an emergency rule to prevent equipment from overheating!
And, in addition to reactive analytics, a predictive rule could warn if equipment
heats up inspite of cooling system on.
Simulation enables all this in a matter of minutes instead of hours or days.
