If anyone is curious about the origins of this animation, the characters are made by John Loter. His company Loter Inc does freelance artwork and design for various studios (most notably Disney). They sold merchandise with thier original characters at comic con and other conventions, and this animation was made as an advertisement for their good girl bad girl merchandise

What do you mean this isn’t an actual cartoon, I’d watch the hell out of it

1:05 I love how the bad girl just goes back to normal like she didn’t just flash us not even five seconds ago

I'd totally watch a bunch of 5-minute webisodes of these girls getting up to shenanigans. They're so cute! The animation is really fluid, too—total eye candy

0:01 Why are there so many 10+ years ago animations getting so popular out of nowhere

This feels like a music video that would appear on mid 2000's Cartoon Network in between shows and commercials.

Reminds me of those obscure French/Canadian cartoons from the 2000s

A show like this could be absolutely amazing!
Just two roommates learning how to hang out with each other, like getting out of their comfort zones and even helping each other out when they need it.

Why has this not been pitched/accepted as a series. It plays well as a potential "Odd Couple" and the humor shown in the video alone is more than an entire series worth of some shows already on cable.

Hello again! We have gotten a lot of requests for more info on GGBG, so here you go…

My wife Shelley and I are former Disney artists. As Loter, Inc., we are an independent studio and do most of our work in service to entertainment companies, incl Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, etc.

In 2005, we first exhibited at San Diego Comic-Con. We debuted a handful of our own original characters on t-shirts and art prints, including Good Girl Bad Girl.

GGBG were based on the old devil and angel consciences-on-your-shoulder idea, which had been seen MANY times in animation, but I thought it would be fun to have more modern characters that were actually positioned on the shoulders of a t-shirt. We did eventually create that shirt and many others and we continue to do so today.

We self produced various types of merchandise, including the gift book, buttons, tattoos, art prints, etc. and later created the music video to promote the characters. The video is mostly derived from gags in the book, but the book has a little more to it, I think.

We did a large GGBG booth display at Licensing Expo and the 2012 wall calendar followed that.

Finally, we pitched GGBG as a show and nearly had a deal. We have not pursued a GGBG series since then, but I have often wanted to create new content in some form.

We continue to exhibit at SDCC every year and always offer a selection of GGBG merch. In fact, we will be there next week. Our online shop has been down for too long, so we will reopen after SDCC- hopefully in August.

Please keep an eye on news from us [as "Loter, Inc."] on our Instagram, Facebook or TikTok pages [links at Loter.com or the YouTube homepage]. In the past, we have not reached out much until we are doing an event, but we will try to be better about that now.

Thank you again!- John

Who would have known that 12 years later this show would come back and build a small little platform that's growing on tiktok, I love it

Who knew after 12 years we were blessed with an advertisement that was mistakenly thought it was an intro to a cancelled cartoon people thought 😂❤

I actually like the animation style used for this video. It kinda gives me those early 2010's animation vibes right here.
