This is one of the reasons my son loves living in Portland Oregon. Lot of the bars have board games. And the store you go to, to purchase board games, has large rooms you can use for free. You can schedule a meet up to play or just show up and find random people to play with. People are there for hours playing D&D or Wingspan etc.

If he ever travels to London this would be on his bucket list. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you - I know to get back there again in 2024...it mean I was there in December/January and I'm going through terrible withdrawals....Also in London...just google whatever you are looking for....felt like Lebanese food (had not had any for many years)....we were wondering around Soho....within 5 minutes walk found the most delightful tiny Lebanese restaurant run by a young Lebanese couple...excellent food and we also tried a chilled Lebanese white wine which proved to be most drinkable.
