What happened to personal responsibility? You take drugs classified as ‘addictive’ and you take appropriate measures. Don’t abuse, get off early and get off them by cutting pills in half. Not rocket science. Don’t blame the good folks needing the pain relief.

What they need to do is make it legal to buy over the counter any percocet you need any Adderall you need and you'll see how the opioid crisis will go down .

Legalize them, regulate like alcohol, use the money for treatment and education.

This guy has known about this for 30 years and has no solutions. His answer was to push it off to the government.

This is a very easy fix. Have our government stop selling it to the public. No Uzis are made in Harlem. No one here owns a poppie field. This big business. This is the American way....

You might want to close the borders to begin with to stop the move of Fentanyl. Some Chronic Pain Patients need pain medication, and you must not punish them for the people that abuse them or go on to become addicted. Suboxone is a wonderful treatment for opioid addiction. It stops withdrawal and does not change the way you feel. Treatment needs to be made cheaper and stigma of addict eliminated. Treatment can save your life.

Doctors need to stop prescribing it! Even for chronic pain. People can take Tylenol and ibuprofen
