I'm glad you started using tape instead of running the design off just one edge of the page. It looks so much nicer with a margin all the eay around so the design doesn't feel lopsided (to me).

The other solution to this would be to run the smears off at least 3 edges of the paper. Typically, it looks more balanced. You could also have two opposite edges run all the way off the page to make it seem like something moved in and out of your "scene."
