Moved the MIC PREAMPS into the Drum Room!!!

With the new drum set up, I wanted to have the mic preamp‘s in the drum room right next to me to make it easy to adjust levels. In the past, running back and forth between the control room and the #drumroom was just not a practical way of working. This #studioequipment rack I built over the weekend houses the mic preamps. Wrapped in birch wood and made of 1/2 plywood, this rack is leaning on a 13 degree angle which makes it easy to see all the controls and signal LEDs.

Yo Weezna sup? My setup is similar in that, my kit is in the same room as my DAW, which makes it hard to adjust comps/gates for my drums. I have some tight fitting Vic Firth noise cancelling headphones, but I wish I had a separate control room to tweak my comps/gates better
