Cervélo has officially launched its new aero road bike, the S5. You’ve probably already seen it ridden by the pros this year, but now it’s available to the rest of us. Check out some of the Cervélo S5’s latest features, such as compensation triangles, a one-piece bayonet fork and new speedy Reserve wheels. Read an in-depth look of the Cervélo S5 here:

Jeez talk about an infomercial. You start by stating that you have not ridden the bike.. yet continue to repeat the marketing blub word for word like it's fact.
What happened to objective investigative journalism or is everyone now a industry shill.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you !!!

I have a 2019 58cm, loved it then Love it Know.
I put 105 mechanical on mine saved $1400.
That didn't slow me down a bit.
I do run a Durace 180mm crank arms with 53/39 gears.
Keep the DTSwiss wheel set too.

Didn’t ride the bike but made the video, isn’t an aerodynamics engineer but makes claims as if he is. ZERO objective insights but just shilling and shilling lol.

It just sails up the road eh? Does he/she actually ride performance bicycles?

LOL.. the “performance changes” are grasping at straws here. They most likely fixed issues in the frontal area that caused catastrophic failures (check youtube for cervelo s5 design fail to see what i mean) and made few cosmetic changes to go with it and called it a day. marketing the whole thing as “faster”

No thanks.

In a world of cookie-cutter aero frame designs, I have to give it to Cervelo, they did a nice job of making this one stand out.

The only other 2 makes I like are the S-Works and hard to believe that it's a little long in the tooth these days, Cannondale's SystemSix which to me has a timeless aero look in between chunky & flowing simultaneously which is a feat to pull off.

Trek (methinks) is just in it's own universe with the totally droolworthy Madone.

53g weight saving, less features. Wow... imagine using Xentis Mark 3 SL instead and making the new bike redundant.

I'm sorry man, but what's the point of a review video from a person that didn't even ride it yet. Get real.

It's unobtainable in anything but odd sizes. Cycling vaporware.
