How does the alternative (low) leaf spring mount affect the gearbox-shaft play? On my TF2 Mojave II kit my biggest problem is that the front shaft touches the gearbox when weighting the front of the car down. At the same time the front diff comes in contact with the servo horn, though I can always distance the servo slightly upwards, but I can't do that with the gearbox & motor assembly.
