I lost my beautiful GF to leukemia 2 years ago. Faking cancer is such a disgusting thing to do.

My dad died when I was 16, 10 years ago, from pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed and died 23 days later. People like this make me mad beyond words.

She lied about having cancer and didn't even bother to shave her head? Wow.

As someone who's lost multiple family members to cancer, this kind of behavior is absolutely despicable.

My grandma died from cancer earlier this year, and when I went to her funeral I was hysterically sobbing. She did so much for me, my dad, and the rest of my family and just thinking about her makes me cry. People faking it for money and attention makes me absolutely SICK because they have no idea what it’s like to lose a family member with such a debilitating disease.

Imagine she genuinely got pancreatic cancer after she's been exposed. It's a "boy who cried wolf" situation.

Not only was she terrible FOR faking the cancer, she was terrible AT faking the cancer. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It REALLY breaks my heart that she was texting an actual cancer patient up to that girls death. That girl probably thought she genuinely had a friend in her and that’s just…I feel fucking icky.

Absolutely VILE behaviour. Its an insult to current fighters and survivors, and a slap to the face for those who had to experience the horrors and ramifications of the diagnosis on family and friends. I had a friend diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and its extremely fucked and foul that she has the GALL to fake all of this for a few dollars and recognition.

What's worse is this practice is quite common. A woman in my local town did an act like this and deceived people to donate $30, 000. She never had cancer and took the money to go on an adventure. She has never served prison time but was forced to reimburse all the $30, 000.

Faking cancer is disgusting, but faking cancer just to bring her broken family together is in all levels unapologetic

As someone that has survived cancer, I always find it disgusting when people lie about having it. I legit had two "friends" message me when I was going through my treatment that they each had cancer. One of them even said she was getting treatment for hers, but I knew she was lying when she said that she had to go to work after it.

People disgust me.

"I didn't do this for money"
She set up a GoFundMe and willing took donations. Should have been jailed.

The only thing more ridiculous than faking cancer is using the money for a Kia. Total loser on all counts.

I hope everyone in her community shuns and shames her, that sentence was appallingly lenient.

My grandmother is a Leukemia survivor, and this breaks my heart. I hate it when people fake cancer just for fame and to get a quick buck.

She didn't do this for money, greed or attention? What a weak sentence for the BS she did.

My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer back in January and seeing what she's going through sickens me that others would ever fake about having it. There is nothing more in this world that I would give just to see my mother back to her old self. Shame on these people who fake diagnoses just to gather sympathy and attention.
