Speaking from a construction dewatering background, also from Omaha, I would pump the pond out, then HDD through the dam and during the back ream, pull an overflow pipe through and use riprap to dissipate the energy of the overflow water at an outfall structure. Biggest risk is that the HDD creates voids in your dam that get larger over time. Option 2, raise your dam and reinforce the back side with an actual dam setup. DM me for specifics.

Only install 1 over flow pipe. Set the pipe to where you want the water level to stay. It is going to be a lot lower than the spot you showed by the electrical boxes. Set the pipe with a transit level. You can see the water level around your pond with the transit.

Grow out a bunch of crappies and catfish in the trout hatchery pond to transfer to the beefcake hq pond for the ultimate catch clean cook pond ever! It's just stocked full of frogs, crappie, catfish and That's one delicious pond

I would suggest getting a Water Buffalo or a Yak that can be friends with both Carol and Ralph. Ostriches are more friendly than Emus.

Drain the pond down enough to put the pipe in, if you put it lower then your new hi water mark will be lower on other side as well, so you won't need to move any material
