Surprise Bernie! 3H Blue Lions Maddening Mode LTC - Ch9 & Manuela, Sothis and Shamir Paralogues!

Three paralogues and a real chapter this time. So much value I had to change up the title a bit.

Note that I (Mekkah) am not the one playing! I'm just commentating over the videos.

The goal of this run is to get the lowest turn count possible while playing the Blue Lions route on Maddening Mode, visiting all paralogues. No auxiliary battles allowed, other than the forced one. The run is done on NG (not NG+) with no DLC.

This run was recorded using the Switch capture feature, which means it's spliced together from 30 second clips. This is why occasionally there's a bit of a skip in the footage. Also, sometimes the gameplay clip featured is not the final take, which is why you'll occasionally see minor differences in unit stats between chapters.

I always found "defeat monster boss" maps the most fun objective to watch and speedrun. It's simple and fast, but you also can't just cheese it with one OP unit, so you have to get creative with getting multiple units in range.

When you one-turned the Sothis paralogue, it reminded me about how I thought I could just run towards the boss and clear the map quickly.

I've never used smite in 3H, only the Tellius games. It was weird seeing Dimitri shoved through Hilda.

It hurts seeing Bernadetta be useful in any capacity but this run has been really entertaining to watch so far. The planning for a game like 3H especially is probably very time consuming and strenuous so I imagine it’s really rewarding for this to pay off

I...have never seen that Gambit that Byleth's Kingdom Wyvern Co. has. Recovery Roar....using that website Mekkah told us about a while ago, I can see that it cures status effects. Sounds situational. The battalion seems pretty good, though. +5 str, 15 hit, 5 crt, 4 Prt at max.
