"Patriots will regret hiring Belichick" is surely the sports headline equivalent of "Dewey defeats Truman". I mean how wrong can one person be? Impressively so actually.

Funny thing about the 2020 Jaguars is that their week 1 win over the Colts was at home. What's so remarkable about this is that to this day, the Colts haven't won in Jacksonville in over a decade. If it weren't for this "curse", you could argue that the Jaguars were meant to go 0-16

The 2003 Panthers caught lightening in a bottle. They were gritty and tough as nails.

The 2001 Panthers are the reason most people think George Seifert is the only coach to coach himself out of the hall of fame. Has he not join the Panthers, he might be in the hall of fame.

In case anyone's wondering, the teams that have gone 2-14 with both wins coming against the same team are the 1981 Baltimore Colts against the Patriots (who also went 2-14), the 2004 49ers against the Cardinals and the 2016 49ers against the Rams.

It was a crime against football how my Rams wasted the prime of SJ39; seeing Marc Bulger go from a Pro Bowl qb in 2006, to literally being afraid of throwing it downfield the following year, was horrifying on the field.

Saying that being a Rams fan in the 2000s after 2004 is a test of patience is an understatment. I was born in 99 and became a conscious NFL fan in 2005 and yea, we sucked, BAD we had one of the worst stretches in NFL history until Mcvay came in. It was rough, man, ROUGH.

Fun fact that Dolphins win 2007 was the last time a NFL team had its fans rush the field. I think that might include all pro sports teams too

I love this video idea. Most of the worst teams in NFL history, worse then the Browns or Lions 0-16 teams in some cases, still somehow managed a win or two. 1-15 is hard to do given how much talent even bad teams have (case and point some will on purpose jettison that talent to rebuild which helps them slide down in the W/L column). They usually have something else going on that led to the loses, such as bad injuries, bad culture, a significant distraction or series of distractions, a much tougher then expected schedule following a more promising year before, or even crater due to unrealistic expectations thrust upon them.

During the rebuild, the Patriots were also purchased by Robert Kraft from James Orthwein in 1994.

God bless the Baltimore Ravens for giving us that win in 2007. We have lost a ton of games to them since then and I have never been bitter about it. It's always this sense of like... we owe them way more than one. an 0-17 season would've been devastating.

I really enjoy a lot of your videos, especially the 2 part documentary about The Seahawks. In the future would you consider doing something similar but for the Baltimore Ravens? If not, perfectly understandable. Again, love your content.

The fact the lions went 0-16 with Calvin Johnson is just wild to me

It's crazy that Carolina Panthers are the only team that went 1-15 and 15-1! I feel bad for Panthers fans they deserve better

After going 1-15 in 2009, the St. Louis Rams went on 7 more years of not making the playoffs, as part of a streak of 12 consecutive seasons not making the playoffs from 2005 to 2016.

The 2017 Browns had drafted rookie DE Myles Garrett but he missed the first 8 games with an injury... and they also lost All Pro OT Joe Thomas halfway through the year.
