Eh to be fair VIA did have one of the fastest encryption IP blocks... I think it was programmable also not specific to a certain cipher. An AI processor + x86 could be useful for industrial use if it isn't too expensive.

The Winchip was such a weaksauce cpu. I don't think even its low price could redeem it back in the day.
