if I hear any more LALALA lyrics this year I'm passing out

please.dont.

it will probably be between Jerry/alyona, Mélovin and Yagody for the win. all strong contenders for the international stage

I wouldn't mind Yagody winning but since Gate won MGP, I think Jerry and Alyona would be a more strategic move

Surprised to say that NAHABA is my favourite. Routing for Yagody and Ingret as well. Though result seems to be deemed already...

Hope Jerry's mic problem won't affect the juries votes.

Melovin had a few lights and a dream, then proceeded to absolutely destroy all competition

I think Yagody is gonna take it, especially since the crowd chanting their name, and all 3 jury members gave them massive praise.Everyone was saying Jerry was gonna take it last year, and look what happened. I'm not hating on Jerry or anything, I'm just saying it's not guaranteed for her and Alyona.

Ukraine is the best country in the Eurovision. This selection is amazing, so many good songs.

Amazing selection considering the ongoing situation there. Literally 10x better than Germany's despite their immense differences as countries overall.

Ukraine’s selection always has the best songs when it comes to Eurovision. None of the songs are just your generic ready for radio song that could be good but not competitive at all. Here, they all possess that Eurovision flavor and would probably do relatively well in the competition, except for maybe Endless Chain

Just some notes on each live performance:

YAKTAK — “Lalala” – Good performance, sung much better than anticipated. Fun song. Staging could've been a little bit more fun but solid performance.

INGRET – “Keeper” – Wished it was as good as the studio cut. No backing vocals and the staging was off. Should have been like the MV with dancers in ethnic clothing. Staging and performance unfortunately downgraded this lovely song for me, knocking it out of contention imo.

NAZVA – “Slavic English” – Staging elevated the song. Really enjoyed this performance. While I don't think the song itself is a competitive choice, I really had fun with this performance and look forward to seeing what else these artist might bring in the future.

ANKA – “Palala” (Burning) – Like the studio cut but staging was lacking and the vocals weren't as strong as I had hoped. The presentation lacked the fun and swag of the song. I understand she wanted backing vocals but just have it on the backing track and have dancers instead to create the right atmosphere. She herself looked a little nervous and not as confident. I still like the song though but that performance makes me think it won't do well in this selection anymore.

Drevo – “Endless Chain” – Very modern Elvis. Not a competitive choice but interesting performer.

alyona alyona & Jerry Heil – “Teresa & Maria” – Coming into this not being a diehard fan but liking the track ok, the performance elevated it a bit for me. I can tell there were sound issues and their mic volume were a bit too low but this song still has potential. And both sounded good. The staging still should be tweaked for more impact.

MÉLOVIN – “DREAMER” – Good singer but I can tell he was straining for some of those falsetto notes. Needed a bit better staging, like have dancer come in st the drop maybe. The song itself is still middle of the road though due to its clunky English. Still not a bad performance. I would enjoy him on the esc stage again if he had a better, less awkward to listen song.

SKYLERR – “Time is Running Out” – Didn't like the studio cut, as the drum and bass cheapens the song. While I still believe that to be the case, Skylerr's live performance did elevate the song for me. Still not a competitive song in my opinion but good performance.

Ziferblat — “Place I Call Home” – Not a competitive song. But solid performance. Just enjoy it here but don't send it.

YAGODY — “Tsunamia” – This was one of my highly anticipated songs. Solid performance. They sounded good imo. Love their costumes. Decent staging but I wanted more because I'm greedy and there is so much additional potential. I like that there was some choreo, but also think it needed to clean it up a bit. Needed more movements referencing or have a background with the cover art of a rolling waves of hands. Still strong overall sound and performance.

NAHABA – “GLASSS” – Maybe not that competitive but this is art. Love the beginning shot. Would advise the singer to hold the mic a little further away for the shouty bits. Her melodic portion was on point. It did get a little messy and chaotic at the end making it look a bit amateurish but I appreciate that they are in the nationals. Would this do well in Malmo? Probably not. But we can still appreciate them here.

My pick would probably be Tsunamia or Teresa and Maria at this point.

Honestly melovin performed so well. You could notice the experience. Im not sure the song will do well if chosen. I would like please different outfits for Jerry and Alyona lol and a diff staging, everything diff please lol but their song still is the best choice.
