Giving Salah a new contract for 3 years will cost the club around £60m. Buying a replacement will cost the club at least £80m to £100m (transfer fee and wages). Salah is no ordinary 32 year old. It would be madness to let him go for free and then spend £80m to £100m on a player who might not live up to that price tag (like Darwin Nunez).

No signing in summer and now cannot afford to offer new contracts for these lads. What a joke owner

We can't afford to lose them!!😢😢
Back in the days, a 30y old player was going downhill fast, but today it's totally different.

Salah is different beast. Age is not a matter. just tie him down for whatever money. it would be worth it

Any team in europe will go for salah or VVD ( for free) ...no brainer ...LFC should give them 2 years contract

It is inevitable that sooner or later these players will no longer play in their football club. They might join another league since Liverpool would also focus on building their future young talents whenever they are ready.

Salah is where most of the goals come from and he's almost always fit. Sign him!!!!

The truth is we don‘t know. We don‘t know if he wants more money. And we don‘t know if he got an offer. So stop spreading lies Stevie.

Just do the maths. If you don’t offer Salah and VVD, Liverpool would have to pay easily 100m for an established striker and another 100m for top defender ie 200m. That’s before their salary which is easily 150k per week. Might as well pay both of other 400k/w for Salah and 300k/w for VVD for 3 years each that will only cost 62m for Salah and 47m for VVD or about 110m for three years. Both of them after the two years would still have value in the Saudi league. So I say give them both three years contract and sell them after two years. That will not be too much of a risk. In fact Liverpool would make money after the sale.

If anything sell Trent for 150m to Real and you can buy all the backup and replacement player you want. With the money buy Omar Marmoush and future replacements for Robbo, Trent, VVD and Konate. Just like rebuilding the midfield when we Fabinho, Henderson left.

Without Salah and VVD Liverpool won’t win anything. Trent won’t win Liverpool any trophy.

Salah is much more important than Dijk. It is much easier to find a solid defender than a player like Salah. That's obvious

Stevie is lying. Salah didn't ask for more money.

Liverpool didn't even offer Salah ANY contract similar to his current wages.

Liverpool needs to offer Salah a similar contract and if he rejects it, then thats on Salah. But they haven't even offered Salah a contract yet.

Stop lying Stevie. At least offer him a contract on the same wages and if he rejects it, then that's on him.
But until then the ball is in FSG's court. It doesn't make any sense I'm starting to think the chairman Tom Werner has beef with Salah.

MO Salah is the best player. Give him Anything He Wants ❤ Give him a new Contract ❤. Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool ❤

It’s around 20 mil a season how much would it cost us to replace salah and you have to account for the wages too which would be at least 200 k a week anyway for the new player. If you can’t keep your best players even when challenging on all fronts as one of the best teams in Europe of the last 7 years you are in the wrong business

Liverpool are smart moving players past their prime like Mane and Firmino. Real Madrid does the same with Casemiro, Ronaldo etc. Salah and Van Dijk should get short term deals like Kroos and Modric if they want, if not Liverpool should let them go.

Steve the accountant Nicoles is acting like his paycheck depends on how much profit FSG makes.

Selling Salah & Van dijk could be Liverpool's biggest mistake.. i don't see Liverpool will be in the top 6 from next season if they sell both of them..
