Initially, the Convoy movement originated in Canada in response to the new federal vaccine mandate that came into effect for cross-border truck drivers on January 15th. The new rule requires unvaccinated Canadian truck drivers that return to Canada to get tested for COVID-19 and isolate for 14 days. Additionally, the new federal mandate also does not allow unvaccinated foreign national truck drivers to cross the border into Canada. January 22nd, the same mandate came into force in the US. Experts warn that both of these mandates are causing even more disruptions to the supply chain of both countries, inflating the prices further. The protest started by Canadian truck drivers has quickly grown into an international movement, with Convoys organized all over the globe, including Brazil, Argentina, USA, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Sweden, UK, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Czechia, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and other countries. Worldwide, the protesters demand an end to all COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

Mandates are hurting so many ppl including myself. So i’m glad the truckers are standing up. I stood up and now I’m facing homelessness. I’m a single mother with two boys both are autistic and non verbal. So I’m already overwhelmed. My husband passed away three years ago. So I’m all alone. I have no friends nor family. I recently lost my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions, lupus, and heart disease. We are struggling daily to make ends meet, everyday is a constant battle, I’m so ashamed of my situation, but God will carry me through. I have faith. I am so very thankful. Thank you Heavenly Father.

In June 1965 I left the USA aboard a ship called the Sultin for Korea. My heart sank as we pulled away from the shore. I felt so much love for my country I didn't want to leave !! I thrill every time i hear the national anthem. God Bless America and our patriots !!
