This says to me that is actually is worth putting your really fine cons to one side for a while and then when you have say a bucket full, soak it in vinegar and sluice it making the process a bit more profitable.
Very cool process and fascinating to see that there is indeed still dirty gold in the cons even after youve cleaned them out the usual way.

I used to care about getting all the gold from black sands but unless you have something like a mini Max or Blue bowl or something else that gets everything out it's really not worth the time and effort. I just throw it in a bucket and run it with other stuff in the mini Max and the silicone mat's catch everything but it's a pain getting it off them. I would just like to know what the vinegar does? I thought it was going to dissolve the black sands and leave the gold but it didn't seem to do anything.❤️💛💚

I use the gold claw all by itself, without using vinegar. And still separated the gold quite. Well, the same way you were using it going with a side to side. Motion in the short direction, instead of side to side in the long direction. In the desert with no water, you can use the gold pan like a dry washer using the same method panning dry.

It would be interesting to see this same vinegar test using the blue bowl afetrward to see if it worked as well

Is it possible that it was black gold and the vinegar washed it. Or could it of been attached to lighter host rock that dissolved in the vinegar. Just a thought. 🤔👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚒️

I'm thinking It cleaned the gold so it was finally distinguishable from the sands . Whatever the case may be, it worked.

Спасибо за ответ а черный песок это магнетит магнитный шлих или любой песок можно держать в уксусе чтоб он раскрылся и как избавить песок или измельченные камни от ртути мышьяка и серы если негде отжигать стал плавить и чего то надышался

I was always told to heat it up the ore cracks apart release gold with in you may need to dunk in cold water to really get it to break apart not positive

You know I think iron gets stuck or even melted onto gold. Vinager can loosen crustafacation if that's a word. I'm gonna do a black sand batch that I morter and postal and some in vinager. Will let you know if I got anything.
