The Peruvian National Police found a mummy in a delivery man’s cooler bag, February 25, 2023.
Local media reported the discovery of the ancient artifact after police saw a group of men drinking in a street in the southern city of Puno.
In the group was Julio Cesar who said the mummy, which he calls Juanita, had belonged to his family for 30 years after talks to donate the piece to the Museum of Puno failed.
