King Charles Thrills Tourists During Surprise Stroll in Notting Hill

This was the moment a group of US tourists became excited nafter the King approached them on the streets of Notting Hill.

King Charles had been visiting the Disasters Emergency Committee at St Peter’s Church to thank staff, aid workers and volunteers for their humanitarian efforts in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Charles is appearing to exceed prior expectations and is proving to be a very good and popular king. Too bad he hasn't had a competent, popular Government as a partner. But his presence demonstrates the purpose of monarchy: the Government of the Day provides debate, decision-making and popular assent, while the monarchy provides stability and continuity. (Unlike the chaos here in America.). The Government falls; the Sovereign remains. God Save the King!
