That's not Billie Holiday, she was a vocalist and didn't play trumpet. Billie died in 1959. The photo you have framed and hanging on your wall taken in 1963 is of Lorraine Glover, wife of famous hardbop trumpet player Donald Byrd. Photo was shot by photographer William Claxton. .

Love this place!! Important recommendation though - DO NOT keep vinyl records in direct sunlight like that! They can actually warp and melt. All the best :)

I adore this apartment!!?! so beautiful and cozy and homey and warm!! I absolutely love it! Everything, the colours, the vintage pieces, the decorations, the wood tones wow just so lovely and beautiful!! and I love how real it looks and how much beautiful stuff you have, I love this much more than a too minimal style even tho I can appreciate that, too.. just so incredibly beautiful and cozy!

You should promote small businesses like the “Instagram seller” you bought your “vintage seashell vase” from and the Etsy maker who crafted your handmade light shade by including their names and @s

You could maybe separate the "bedroom" with a glass wall panel with framing. You would get the visual separation but still get the light in and not make the space feel small. 😊🌿

Just water your plants in the window 1 time each month and they will survive. They are easy care plants, so over watering those are a no no. Let the soil dry out completely and when it's time to water, take them to the sink and give them a really good soak. Fertilize 2 or 3 times a year.
Oh, and tell them they are loved and beautiful. I know it sounds silly, but it works. 😊
