My friend was stuck being an Uber driver for the last four years. Couldn't find a job in construction. Last week Monday, he walked i to jb construction and was given a job the same day. He just finished his first week of his work trade in four years.

Every single business talking about employees not showing up needs to be investigated. Hiring undocumented workers is illegal, and everybody needs to be held to task for their contributions to the mess our country is currently in.

For the past few years, they kept saying "They have nowhere to go, where are they supposed to go?" Well, within a few weeks, it looks like they were able to find somewhere to go.

Everyone is now just seeing the impact on cheap labor vs. hiring legal American citizens and giving them an actual wage

I dont care if they are scared, they are not supposed to be here in the first place, clean the city.

I've definitely noticed a drop in traffic on the roads and in stores.
Couldn't be happier.

Historically, in order to immigrate to this country, you had to show you had a means to support yourself or you had to have a sponsor; not catholic charities or some other NGO paid for by USAID, not given thousands of dollars a month at taxpayer expense, while the actual taxpayer struggles to make ends meet. And they sure as hell ain't mowing lawns or picking vegetables in the middle of NYC or Chicago.

Those same business owners should be held accountable for their part in breaking laws like anyone else would when breaking the laws

Advocating for them to stay shows they don't actually care about the people
