Demonstrating my auto calibrating FSR(Force Sensing Resistor) to digital signal module. This is going to be used as the probe for auto level probing on my 3d printer.

The module re-calibrates every time it is powered up or when the re-calibrate pin is triggered.

Excellent insightful problem solving, excellent example of innovation in the RepRap community.  Looking forward to implementing this when you give us a list of parts and wiring diagram.  great example of the bread board for prototyping.

Demonstration of my auto calibrating FSR control module. Takes the analog output from the FSR sensor and sends an output trigger when contact is detected.

Showing how additional mass on the sensor, say from a heavier plate, or objects on the plate, can be accounted for using the module's re-calibrate signal pin to trigger a recalibration. Can also have the module continually adjust its calibration and only trigger on sharp changes.

Hi mind if you share the code of how you program the fsr using the attiny85?

Very cool...now, what is the repeatability of the "touches"? 0.1mm?

testing out your code on the trinket... Q1: which ino file should i be using...
Q2: I can get it all up and going on initial testing, but when i try to add weight and recalibrate by resetting the trinket it wont register touch anymore.

Are there any more recent updates to this idea?
