Our parish priest was forced to take a sabbatical, and we had substitute priests for a year, and then got a new pastor priest. I was surprised to see him recently and the diocese has still not given him an appointment, either in a church, chaplaincy etc. He has NOT been told WHY he is being cancelled. He has not sinned, caused a scandal, done something wrong, but was just outspoken about too. He is not living in a rectory, but with his elderly father. I have been praying for him for 2 years now and let him know I still will. I reminded him that Padre Pio was not allowed to serve, St. John of the Cross was put in prison by his brothers, and others have been canceled and persecuted. I hugged him and said he is going for sainthood. It makes me ANGRY that such a good, holy priest is cast aside because he has spoken in truth, cares about his parishioners, etc. Please pray for our good and holy priests who are suffering.
