Congratulations! I know you will receive an answer very very. I really do believe with our profession we are on the top of the list to be granted the naturalisation.
I'm from the EU(Belgium citizen) I arrived in the UK in December 2009. By the grace of God my IRL I received it for free because of the Brexit situation in 2019. To be honest doing the naturalisation wasn't in my mind, but after being here for 15 years and when I watched nurse Belinda video on YouTube, that's convinced me to do it. So, November 2023 I passed the life in the UK, but I'm taking my time with the application (money, money ooohh!!!😅. I believe they should give nurses discount with the naturalisation fees😊) but I think 2025 is the year when I will do it.
Good luck for any one who took that route and may God will be done. 🙏🏽. Thank for the video Nanelle

Congratulations Nanelle, you have been approved already. I knew you were due this step and I am so pleased for you.

Got my approval exactly eight weeks from the day I submitted my online application so expect to hear earlier that the six months time frame.

Nanelle, thank you for your video. I am currently a nurse looking to apply for naturalisation too. I am confused by the question ' have you ever made any previous immigration applications in the UK or abroad? Do I include when I applied for any visit visas to the UK before coming here on a tier 2 visa?

Congratulations and thanks for the information, it's really helpful. My question now is this, can an immigrant who already has his citizenship through naturalization stand for you as reference.

I will like to note this to everyone who may also be planning to apply for naturalisation as they don’t say it in the application process so people don’t even know about it, but I know couple of people whose application has been delayed because of this little mistake.
On the day you submit your application, you should have been present in the uk 5 years exactly ago exactly on that day. For instance, if you are planning to submit your application on the 1st of feb, 2025, you should have been present in the country the 1st of feb, 2020. I know couple of people whose applications were returned and asked to confirm different date of submission. Most at times, it won’t be refused but it just causes delays
