This is what happened, this guy zainconor lied and said he made the samples, he then sent them to me and asked me to collaborate with him and finish the song, myself and the singer Micheal Zhonga worked Around what he had sent to us for months to have a complete song. recorded vocals specifically to match the keys and chords of WHAT CONOR SENT US. I made Everything else other than the samples that were ripped out of the chainsmokers vol.1 sample pack, we later identified. I mixed the song, arranged it, programmed the automation, mastered, etc . We actually shot a music video for the song and were going to release it the day of the release as well. But when that day came the label flagged the song. it was very disappointing.... and then to find out this guy zain conor ripped out of a pack and said he made it. I dont work with this guy anymore obviously and hes going around leaking the song everywhere and having it signed to small labels for little no money at all and telling people he made... I just really wanted to clear things up.. im not a faker, I actually produce all my music and Im glad people enjoy it.

This song was uploaded on this channel some while ago. But he had to delete it due to Zain Connor saying that the reuploaders must delete it or else it will be Copyright Striked due to him trying to find a label to sign the song in. So most of the reuploaders did just that but i just unlisted the video and when the song was Signed to Project Influx i made it public agian so its safe to use now. :)

Fact: This song It was uploaded on September 6th, 2017, and set to private sixteen minutes after it was uploaded because it was discovered that Zain Conor had plagiarized the demo from the Echo Sound Works Chainsmoking Vol. 1 sample pack.

Backstory:

Zain Conor sent samples to Drivvin asking him to collaborate and finish the song. Drivvin did most of the production for the song, working around what Zain sent him for several months, and Michael Zhonga recorded vocals to match the chords of the song. They filmed a music video for the song and planned to release it on the same day that NCS released the song. However, sixteen minutes after NCS uploaded the release of the song on their YouTube channel, it was flagged and set to private. Drivvin later identified the samples that Zain Conor sent him as coming from the Echo Sound Works Chainsmoking Vol. 1 sample pack. Furthermore, the drop in What I Never Had is virtually identical to the drop in the sample pack's demo. Zain had lied about it, claiming he made the song and its samples himself. Since then, Zain has been signing the song to small labels for little to no money.

Drivvin no longer works with Zain Conor.

After this song was removed from NCS, it was released via Project Influx. However, it has since been set to private.
