Uncle, shouldn't it be possible to genetically test the egg itself? My partner has sickle cell trait, not full disease, but it is a gene that we do not want to pass on to the children. Therefore, we are interested in harvesting multiple eggs to test, and then artificially inseminate afterwards. We don't want to kill our embryos through IVF..
