Somewhere beyond the edge of the galaxy we live in, there are always a few super spacecraft present.
Super spacecraft are 3.4 times the size of the solar system. They release spacecraft the size of the Earth into the galaxy we live in.
Those spaceships are of course invisible to us humans. We only accidentally see them when they are in visible mode.
Perhaps new super spacecraft are capable of destroying the galaxy and creating an empty space area 300 million light years wide.😊

Maybe it’s just the behavior of that particular star because of some unknown phenomenon that happens there. Automatically supporting the idea that an alien structure is responsible for that behavior seems bonkers to me

Er no, it's it's simply a change in the plasma body of the object, as its electrical input from it's electrical filament stream changes. ET knows and uses plasma physics to get around and not warped woo woo maths guesswork.
