Tension- Palm Router Freehand Carved

This piece is called Tension. I has taken me 2 years to complete, not because of the time involved to make it but because I started it and forgot about it until I moved into a new shop. This piece is 1.5 X 40 X 70 inches. It is made in black veneer and tigerwood. This is the first of many large carvings i'll be working on.

You should try carving it the opposite way, leave the "spots" dark and remove the borders.
