Guess 25 Songs By Famous BASS Lines

Even I'm not primary a bass player I decided to improve my bass guitar skills, so I set a goal to make another Song Quiz but this time with famous bass lines. The rules are simple. Just have fun and try to guess the song and band until timebar will finish.

Of course, there are more songs, which should be included, but it´s really hard to fit everything in one video, without it being too long and exhausting to watch. But more episodes are scheduled, so I hope eventually most of these songs will be covered.

The bass guitar used in this video is Ibanez GSR 180 BK.

Here is PLAYLIST with all my quizzes:

FUN FACTS:
#1 Red Hot Chili Peppers - Higher Ground is actually a cover song. Original Higher Ground is a song by Stevie Wonder.
#2 The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army bass line is originally played with regular guitar using octave effect to lower pitch.

Do you know anything else interesting related? You can write it down below in this comment treat :)

Seven Nation Army is an amazing bass riff. There's just one problem...

It isn't played on a bass.

7:29 I love how you can definitely tell it's Tool even if you don't know that specific song. I just immediately sensed that distinct Toolish vibe

4:10 sounds like a combo of I Want You (She’s so Heavy) by the Beatles and Darth Vader’s theme song

0:03 Love how the fingers perform some sort of moon walk motion. As if this move had been inspired by the bass line :D

Fun fact: the base line and drum intro to YYZ were developed from the Morse code of Toronto airport's code : YYZ. Niel Peart and Geddy noticed it as Alex was flying them home from a practice studio a little way (Canadian little) from Toronto
