Meet Scott Smilen, M.D., Chairman Department of OB/GYN at JSUMC

Dr. Scott W. Smilen is Chair of OB/GYN at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He is board-certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and OB/GYN. Well-recognized for expertise in vaginal surgery, he has authored national guidelines on topics including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence and is currently Vice Chair of the publications committee for the American Urogynecologic Society. Dr. Smilen treats patients for a variety of conditions including Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Urinary Incontinence, Overactive Bladder, and Congenital Anomalies of the Reproductive System.
