Turtles are so cool I don't care what kind of turtle it is I think all turtles are unique and just magnificent animal to look at to watch to observe to study it's an amazing little creature

I saved 9 from the drain at work last week most of our Sandune’s have been eroded away here in New Smyrna Beach Volusia County Florida area so we had a clutch hatch and they came up towards the hotel instead of out to the water so we picked them up. Put them in a container with a damp towel and called them Marine Center.

One of the good things we get to enjoy is seeing the sea turtles come up, but there’s no Sandune’s left so they do what they can with the sand we have left. We make sure we put markers up and call the county. Let the professionals take care of it.

I saw one of these washed up on a super touristy beach with a huge bite taken out of it when I was a wee lad. The bite was like a half manhole cover sized hole punched through the shell.
