Allium Serendipity

It’s always fun when a ‘sport’ is found and that is the case with Allium ‘Serendipity’. A blue foliage Allium was found mixed in with Allium ‘Millenium’ a green foliage form, this resulted in an unexpected occurrence or “serendipity”. With all the great attributes that ‘Millenium’ boasts, ‘Serendipity’ features loads of 1.5-2 inch purple globe-shaped flowers on a 15-20 inch tall mounding blue-green clump.

I would like to know if these bloom any longer than the Millenium or if the 'bluer' colour is the only difference. Thanks Heidi 😀

My head is getting dizzy is the flower made from garlic and onions and other stuff or not I've spent a few hours researching alliums BC I want to plant some to pair with some Zinnia's, Sunflowers, Hibiscus's and some Roses so I can have a small flower part of the garden we have

Hi there, do these alliums need some sun protection in an 8a location? I'd like to plant these with some Nepeta and am trying to figure out the best place for their survival!

How many weeks do they bloom? I am in zone 6 but have reservations about these because I don’t want it to look just like grass in my flowerbeds in the front of my house.

I just watched your other video for Allium Millenium...they are both beautiful plants! Been debating which to buy as Serendipity is twice the price of the Millenium so I am wondering aside from the difference in foliage which is blueish green for Serendipity I wonder if there is something else.
