A lot of people are commenting about Leela being dumber. And while it is a bit of a change, you have to keep in mind, Leela just spent an entire lifetime with only Fry to talk to. That.... that changes a person.

I super appreciate how well they stuck to the original style. It can be hard to replicate it exactly when theres new animators and possibly old ones who haven't worked on this show in years. I haven't watched yet but visually the new Futuruma has done it good justice. Even the pacing from this one scene feels like they picked up right where they left off. Nice to see.

This episode pulled the classic Futurama emotional one two punch.

Absolutely ridiculous premise with the alien babies but then it turns into an entire episode about parent hood and feeling inadequate.

The end had a tear in my eye. I’m a dad now and the feeling that you aren’t doing good enough hits every day and for them to capture that with Amy who is historically a pretty shallow character, was unexpected. That last question they ask her to prove she’s a fit parent had me choked up.

Such a damn good show.

For the convenience of newcomers and people who haven't watched every episode, Leela has forgotten how she knocked up Kif so we get an explanation. It is also a plot thread from 20 years back so it's understandable
